Sometimes I can't resist the urge...![]()
to visit a webcam site and see how various parts of New Hampshire are faring.
Is it raining? Are there crowds? Or even snow? I can discover comfortably from in front of my computer, thanks to the ever-growing use of webcams. From the top of Mount Washington to Nubble Light (I know that is in Maine, not New Hampshire), I can virtually visit whenever I feel like it.
According to Wikipedia, the very first webcam was started in 1991, and was pointed at the Trojan room coffee pot in the computer science department of Cambridge University. Yeah, yeah I know it doesn't sound very exciting NOW. But trust me, at the time it was jaw dropping.
Do you have a favorite New Hampshire webcam? (Or even one that is not in New Hampshire)
