Okay, some of you are probably thinking, "Jan's lost it; she was a sucker for a marketing ploy." Well you may be partially correct. As a marketing major I'm the first one to recognize an advertising campaign. I happen to like this one.
There is also a definite New Hampshire tie in to this story (what I usually blog about). Madelyn Gearheart, the Director of the New Hampshire Women's Chorus, and a Durham resident, submitted a video called "Bravissimo Bertolli," to the Bertolli company's contest. She is now one of the four finalists.
Visitors to the contest web site get to vote on the video they prefer (of course you have to provide some personal info to satisfy their marketing department), and you are at the same time entered into a contest to win a "fab trip to NYC," and to meet celebrity chef Rocco DiSpirito (faint).
Voting only lasts until May 1st (which means you must vote either today or tomorrow) -- so time's awasting! Get to it--vote now!

P.S. Oh, I'm also a fan of the product. I bought one of the Bertolli Frozen dinners when I went shopping this week. Why not more? My husband is a Celiac, so he cannot eat these meals. Now if Bertolli would only make a "gluten-free" alternative meal, I'd be buying these dinners by the case.
